Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Psalm 119:105
As I said earlier this week in an instagram post, I love the Bible. God’s Word is a gift, a love letter to all people. And it truly is a lamp and a light before me, before any who choose to read it.
Today, I have a newly packaged Bible, from (in)courage to share with you.
The CSB (in)courage Devotional Bible
The CSB (in)courage Devotional Bible was made as an invitation to each woman to find her own story in God’s story, the story of love and redemption.
This Bible is in the Christian Standard Bible version, which seems to have become very popular for readability and accuracy. It has many features which I think are fantastic.
- Women of Courage
- Reflective Devotions
- Book Introductions
- Theme Verses
- Journaling Space
Of these features, I think I am most impressed with the journaling space. As one who does write in her personal Bible, those lines at the bottom of each page are inviting.
Another feature that has caught my attention is the section in the final pages that holds Reading Plans. These Reading Plans are designed around themes such as “friendship on purpose” and “scared brave” I am looking forward to diving into one of these this weekend.
This Bible is bound in cloth over board. It is available in four colors: the green you see in this post, blue, navy and gray. It is pretty, without being showy. I have not ever used a devotional Bible before, and am excited for this opportunity.
Have you used a devotional Bible? Or the Christian Standard Bible? What version do you most commonly read?
