You will notice, these Perfectly Unique letters, drawn from the book by Annie F Downs, are quite short and simple. I often struggle between being too wordy, and too abrupt. In these letters, I wanted the message to be true and rich, but my words to be few. Hopefully I have achieved a balance.
Feel free to use these letters, but please do not post them anywhere else. Instead, if you want to share these letters, please link directly these posts. Letter 1 can be found here.
Here is letter 2…
Perfectly Unique Letter 2
Hello Precious One. I hope that you and your family are healthy and increasing in the knowledge of God’s love for each of you.
Do you know that God thinks about you? He does!
16 Your eyes have seen my unformed substance;
And in Your book were all written
The days that were ordained for me,
When as yet there was not one of them.
17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18 If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand.
When I awake, I am still with You.
There are many lies that each one of us hears. These lies can make us doubt our value, and they can make us doubt that we are loved. It is important to read the Bible and to learn what God says about you. Just like the verses in this letter tell you that God thinks about you, God also says in the Bible that you are chosen, you are redeemed, you are precious, and much more.
Do you ever doubt that you are important and loved? Here are some more words for you to read and think about.
10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.
God made you on purpose! That is true, and it means you are important. Think about that sweet girl. God really thought about you, planned for you and still thinks about you. How does that make you feel?
I pray that your heart is encouraged and strengthened by these words. May the God of hope fill you with joy and with peace as you trust in Him.
