The way my family lives is hard on our skin. Chances are, yours is too. My husband works construction, and two of my kids are lifeguards. I love to walk, hike and just be outside. All of this requires plenty of time in harsh environments: wind, water, sun, and cold. For years we dealt with dry skin, using different lotions and creams, never getting full relief.
Then we discovered MadeOn Hard Lotion. The products from MadeOn Skin Care have brought nourishing relief from dry, even cracked skin. Hard Lotion is made with beeswax, coconut oil, and shea butter as the base. The scents are created with high quality essential oils and some other products like spices, food puree (pumpkin).
Lavender Lotion Bar
To apply Hard Lotion, I hold the bar in my hands for a few moments, this warms and softens the bar. Then I roll it around in my hands, and gently massage in the softened lotion, usually on my hands and my feet. It is also nice to take a very small amount and massage into nail cuticles. Hang nails disappear and my fingers look better, younger!

Lavender Hard Lotion is my hands down favorite. It is the one I keep in my nail care bag, and in my purse. The scent is gentle, and so very soothing. This is the lotion I try to keep extras of for my lifeguard daughters, and for gift giving. The job my favorite lifeguards have is at an indoor water park. They often stand in inches of water for hours, which created dry cracked skin on their feet. Regular use with this lotion bar has helped them to heal, and to stay that way!
The citrus lotion bars are a new part of the hard lotion product line. When my recent order arrived, I quickly tested out the scent of the citrus lotion bars. Mmmm. Tossing one into my nail bag, I put the other away for gift giving. Within a couple of days I noticed that someone had pilfered my citrus lotion bar. The teens just might like this one better than the lavender.
The lip balms are also a favorite in our house. The peppermint is hands down the favorite.
