First Aid, Sponsorship Saturday

April 30, 2016 By Michelle

How about the topic of FIRST AID for this Sponsorship Saturday?  A letter with these first aid coloring pictures and some band aids an idea to wrap up this month.  I found these images during lots of searching on the internet and now I am not sure where I originally found them!  But for the correspondence I did a little editing and sent them off.

This one does not print as crisp but I like it better because it has a child.  I think the idea is pretty clear in this picture!

Bandaids

I usually buy several boxes of colorful and character bandaids as the seasons change.  I staple a handful of them to a card stock scrap or an index card, which I then slip into a small ziploc bag.  The bag is then stapled to the correspondence bundle.  With the letter and coloring pages I ended up with 4 pages.

A quick reminder, make sure you label each paper, baggie & gift with your sponsor child’s name and number!

Please share, in the comments, other FIRST AID ideas you have for sharing with our sponsor kids?!

If only we can use band aids to heal our emotional wounds.

That is certainly true Max. That is why we need Christ, only He can heal those wounds!

What a great idea!! My husband is a nurse, so I think I’ll ask him to help me write a first aid themed letter next year! I like the coloring pages you found. Thanks for the inspiration.
