Once again a food sensitivity/allergy is taken me on a new journey to ensure my family gets good nutrition that is tasty and safe. This Turkey Veggie Patty recipe originally appeared on Heavenly Homemakers. I have tweaked the recipe to suit my family. It is full of protein and veggie goodness. and each member of the family enjoys it! The preparation for these patties is rather messy, but I don’t mind the clean up as much when I’ve doubled the recipe. That means I feed the family and have some in the freezer for another day! And I really love it when it is warm enough to cook them outside, and the mess is not in my kitchen. My hubby bought this lovely outdoors stove during our kitchen remodel and cooking on it is fantastic!
We generally serve these Turkey Veggie patties with french fries or tator tots and fresh veggies like sliced cucumbers with ranch dressing. We rarely eat them as sandwiches, as most of us are not that found of hamburger buns 🙂 A simple, tasty family pleasing meal.
