Books! Reading is one of the sweet things in life. How I acquire new books for our family library has been a wonderful blessing to my family of voracious readers. Today I’d like to share with you a few of the ways through which we continue to build our family library.
Through this blog I work with several blogging networks. Not all are for books, but most are. Two of these networks are related websites through which I receive books for free, often in exchange for a review or opinion.
- The first to introduce you to is..! .
Through this network I have received several books for my daughters and my granddaughter. These girls now get pretty excited when bookish looking packages arrive! It gets fun when a package arrives that no one is expecting, and it doesn’t look like a book. Just recently one these arrived, and the surprised delight when I pulled out a book was fantastic.
2. A while after joining the Tyndale Blog Network I was introduced to Tyndale Rewards. Tyndale Rewards is a program designed for people to earn books and Bibles through a point system. Points are accumulated by:
*Inviting others (which I am doing here 😉 )
*Asking an author a question
*Writing reviews of Tyndale products on Amazon, Christian Book Distributors or Tyndale.com
*and several other ways!
After 35 or more points are accumulated, you can start redeeming them for great books or Bibles. One more thing, you do not have to have a blog to participate with Tyndale Rewards!
I hope this post is a blessing to you! The books that I receive through Tyndale Rewards are either added to my family’s library, or given as gifts. Just another frugal blessing in our lives!
